About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Machine Service Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain CNC metal fabrication and advanced manufacturing equipment at customer locations throughout North America. This position is ideal for someone with strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills who enjoys solving problems in the field, working independently, and supporting customers directly. The right candidate will be comfortable traveling extensively, working hands-on with industrial equipment, and serving as a trusted technical resource for customers and internal teams.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience servicing CNC or industrial manufacturing equipment
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
  • Experience working with PLCs, VFDs, servos, HMIs, and industrial controls
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, P&IDs, and technical drawings
  • Experience using precision measuring tools and electronic test equipment
  • Strong customer-service and communication skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently in the field
  • Comfortable traveling extensively throughout North America
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and work in industrial environments

Nice To Haves

  • Forklift experience and familiarity with hand tools and diagnostic equipment preferred
  • CNC tube bending and/or CNC fiber laser experience is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Travel to customer sites throughout North America (up to 75%)
  • Install, commission, service, and troubleshoot CNC machines, fiber lasers, press brakes, and related manufacturing equipment
  • Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and motion-control systems
  • Troubleshoot PLCs, VFDs, servos, HMIs, sensors, vision systems, and industrial communication networks
  • Program and configure PLCs, VFDs, servos, and HMIs as needed
  • Install, calibrate, test, and repair electronic and control-system components
  • Train customers on machine operation, safety procedures, and routine maintenance
  • Document service work performed, machine conditions, and recommended improvements
  • Interpret and update electrical schematics, technical drawings, and service documentation
  • Support equipment upgrades, modifications, and new installations
  • Serve as the on-site technical representative and coordinate with OEM partners when needed
  • Perform all work safely and in compliance with OSHA, NEC, NFPA, and company standards
