As an Industrial Journeyman Electrician, you will play a crucial role in all electrical work related to our manufacturing processes. This includes bending conduit, pulling wire, working with control circuitry, and interpreting electrical blueprints. Requirements

  • State Journeyman or Master Electrician License
  • Completed apprenticeship or equivalent experience (8,000 hours)
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings accurately
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
  • Working knowledge of NEC electrical codes and proficient conduit bending skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with panel boards, transformers, and distribution equipment preferred.
  • 2-3 yrs experience in industrial electrical work is preferred.
  • Medium voltage and electronics experience.
  • Experience with fabrication or machining
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks efficiently

Responsibilities

  • Pull wire and terminate devices such as receptacles, switches, motors, and other electrical components.
  • Work with panel boards, transformers, and distribution equipment in accordance with industry standards.
  • Execute duties typical of a Commercial/Industrial Construction Electrician, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
  • Prioritize and plan work activities effectively, managing time efficiently to meet project objectives.
  • Demonstrate teamwork by collaborating effectively with colleagues, offering assistance, and responding positively to feedback.
  • Coach and mentor apprentices on-site and facilitate the growth of others.
  • Adhere to safe manufacturing and material handling practices to maintain a secure work environment.
  • Fulfill additional job duties assigned by the company, remaining flexible and adaptable to changing needs.
