Requirements

• Previous experience in janitorial, custodial, industrial cleaning, or a similar role.
• Knowledge of safe cleaning practices and proper use of cleaning products and equipment.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, sweeping, mopping, and lifting cleaning supplies or bags of trash as needed.
• Dependable attendance and the ability to work the scheduled hours.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A positive attitude and commitment to workplace safety.
• Must be willing and able to pass an initial and periodic drug screens and a background check upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform industrial janitorial duties while following all company safety policies and procedures.
• Collect and dispose of trash throughout assigned work areas.
• Sweep, mop, and maintain clean floors and walkways.
• Clean and sanitize offices, bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas.
• Assist with laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing items as needed.
• Maintain cleaning supplies and notify the appropriate personnel when supplies need replenishing.
• Follow proper procedures for handling cleaning products, equipment, and waste.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Complete assigned tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and attention to detail.
