Industrial Hygienist
About The Position
This role involves conducting workplace hazard assessments and exposure evaluations, performing noise monitoring, supporting hearing conservation, conducting respirator fit testing, and recommending appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The position also includes developing and maintaining radiation safety and dosimetry programs, responding to safety incidents with 24/7 on-call support, and preparing clear, timely reports and documentation. Additionally, the role involves performing annual inspections and program reviews, supporting occupational medical surveillance activities, and serving as the Chemical Hygiene Officer to manage chemical safety programs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field
- Minimum 4 years of industrial hygiene experience
- Experience with hazard recognition, evaluation, and control
- Ability to make independent professional judgments
