The Industrial Hygienist 3 serves as an industrial hygiene and safety resource for clean-up operations as a result of past transuranic (TRU) waste processing activities. Specific duties may include, but are not necessarily limited to, the development, maintenance and implementation of IHS policies, procedures, and process related to ES&H Programs. The IHS Professional will collaborate with their peers and the workforce in developing solutions to complex IHS problems that require in-depth analysis of work activities. This position is subject to DOE Order 426.2, Personnel Selection, Training, and Qualification Requirements for DOE Nuclear Facilities, which establishes entry-level requirements to ensure candidates selected for specific positions can successfully perform the requirements of the job.
