About The Position

InPwr, Inc. is seeking an experienced Industrial General Superintendent to lead and oversee field operations for large-scale industrial and water/wastewater electrical construction projects. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring safe, high-quality project execution across multiple jobsites while driving workforce development, operational excellence, productivity, quality control, and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in industrial electrical construction, water/wastewater facilities, field leadership, and multi-site workforce management. This position requires a hands-on leader who can successfully manage field operations, develop teams, maintain safety compliance, and support the continued growth of INPWR's Water Division.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of electrical construction experience, preferably in industrial environments such as water/wastewater treatment, manufacturing, oil and gas, chemical processing, or steel production
  • Active Journeyman Electrician License required
  • Ability to obtain a Master Electrician License within 12 months of hire if currently holding a Journeyman License.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel nationally on a frequent basis.
  • Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC), electrical theory, and electrical safe work practices
  • Experience leading and developing field personnel across multiple jobsites and project locations
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, specifications, wiring diagrams, P&IDs, three-line diagrams, and technical manuals
  • Proven experience managing manpower planning, labor allocation, project scheduling, and field operations
  • Expertise in industrial electrical construction and installation.
  • Experience with water/wastewater treatment facilities and industrial process environments.
  • Knowledge of motor controls, process controls, instrumentation systems, VFDs, and soft starters.
  • Understanding of E&I (Electrical & Instrumentation) systems, equipment, and construction layouts.
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Experience supporting commissioning, startup, testing, and energization activities.
  • Ability to perform material takeoffs, procurement support, and schedule planning as needed
  • Strong leadership, coaching, mentoring, and workforce development skills.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities with project teams, customers, vendors, subcontractors, and company leadership.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and field teams simultaneously.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support multiple project sites, Site Superintendents, Foremen, Journeymen, and Apprentices.
  • Conduct routine site visits to monitor project progress, safety compliance, quality standards, and workforce performance.
  • Coordinate manpower allocation and workforce deployment across active projects.
  • Review daily reports, look-ahead schedules, production updates, and project documentation.
  • Communicate daily with Site Superintendents, Foremen, Project Managers, and customers.
  • Facilitate project coordination meetings and resolve field-related issues.
  • Monitor project schedules, labor productivity, and installation progress.
  • Track and manage labor resources using company labor-tracking systems.
  • Coordinate mobilization, demobilization, tools, equipment, and material transfers between projects.
  • Partner with subcontractors and labor providers to meet workforce needs.
  • Perform field assessments and provide coaching, mentoring, and technical support to field personnel.
  • Conduct toolbox talks and reinforce company safety initiatives.
  • Support commissioning, startup, and energization activities.
  • Collaborate with engineering, project management, payroll, and operations teams.
  • Travel nationally as needed to support project execution and operational requirements.
