The Industrial Forklift Operator is responsible for unloading and loading all inbound and outbound products, along with moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting product within and throughout the warehouse. This role requires the operator to inspect the technical condition of the Forklift and other handling equipment before starting work, record pre-use checks, and report any faults. The operator will also check delivered quantities and condition of goods, unload and stack incoming products, complete orders for distribution, and ensure product pallets are secured and labeled correctly. Additionally, the role involves loading goods for transportation, moving stock within the warehouse, using the SAP RFID scanning system, and transporting materials to the production department following FIFO procedures. Operation of a low-lift pallet truck for tasks like loading sea containers, cleaning equipment according to standards, and performing general warehouse duties when not operating a forklift are also key responsibilities. This includes general housekeeping, selecting/sorting packaging materials, assisting with stock takes, and assisting with the implementation and maintenance of CP systems. The operator will also be responsible for safely exchanging gas cylinders, refilling fuel tanks, or replacing/recharging batteries, and must adhere to all plant GMP and BRC requirements. Any other duty reasonable corresponding with the role may also be assigned.
