The Industrial Facility Maintenance Technician (also described as an Electro-Mechanic) is a front-line reactive troubleshooter and systems analyzer responsible for maintenance and repair of plant equipment and facilities. The role requires electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical knowledge, a strong manufacturing background, mechanical aptitude, and process troubleshooting skills. The technician works independently with little to no supervision and may perform other duties as assigned. Electrical work includes performing or assisting with major and minor repairs involving 480V three-phase motors and installations, motor starter circuits, VFD drives, photo-optic sensing devices, proximity switches, E-stop circuitry, and ground-fault detection, following the company’s Electrical Safety Program. The technician uses precision measuring devices, hand tools, and electrical testing instruments; reads and interprets schematics; applies basic electrical theory; and troubleshoots plant maintenance problems, especially electrical issues involving AC and DC drives and motor-control circuits. PLC troubleshooting is a plus. Mechanical work includes maintaining, cleaning, lubricating, adjusting, diagnosing, disassembling, repairing, and replacing equipment and machinery such as motors, conveyors, pumps, belts, and chains. The technician works with pneumatic and hydraulic systems, reads mechanical prints and technical data, and interprets P&ID drawings. The position is based in Corsicana, Texas, and offers a stated pay rate of $31–$42 per hour depending on experience. The available shift is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.
