About The Position

This is a full-time position for an Industrial Facilities Cleaner working a day shift from 7 am to 3 pm, Monday to Friday. The role involves performing janitorial duties in a manufacturing environment, assessing facility conditions, reporting hazards and repair needs, and assisting with other operational tasks as needed. A pre-employment background check and drug screen are required.

Requirements

• Ability to concentrate for extended periods of time and multi-task
• Ability to communicate both verbally & in writing English
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to stand for a minimum of 7 hours per day
• Good eye, hand and foot coordination

Responsibilities

• Performs both light and heavy janitorial duties in a manufacturing environment
• Assesses facility conditions at regular intervals and reporting hazards identified, along with repair needs and other opportunities for facility improvements to the Plant Manager
• Fills in as back up for designated Mill Operator, Packaging Operator and/or Baler Operator when needed
• Assists with PM accountabilities as needed
• Performs other duties as required
