As an Industrial Estimator/Project Manager, you’ll help shape complex projects before work begins—developing accurate estimates, evaluating risk, strengthening project strategies, and creating a clear path from concept to execution. You’ll collaborate with industrial leadership, project teams, clients, vendors, and trade partners while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and deliver greater value. Requirements
- Three (3) years or more of estimating experience with a thorough understanding of industrial mechanical systems, equipment, drawings, specifications, and techniques.
- Two-year degree in Mechanical or CAD Drafting, Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or closely related field of study OR five (5) years or more of industrial construction experience.
- Proficient with MS Office Suite and industry ‑ related estimating software, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new tools.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and consistently meet deadlines.
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
Nice To Haves
- Previous project management experience is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develop conceptual, budgetary, and detailed estimates for complex industrial projects.
- Review drawings, specifications, schedules, and project requirements to define scope and cost.
- Prepare proposals and evaluate project risks, cost impacts, and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with clients, engineers, project teams, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Negotiate and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing to identify the best overall value.
- Maintain accurate estimating data and documentation while supporting a smooth project handoff.
