About The Position

Canada Pump & Power is a growing industrial and marine construction company specializing in pumping, dredging, dewatering, and marine projects across Canada. They are seeking dependable, mechanically inclined Industrial Equipment Operators to join their team and support a variety of challenging projects in remote locations. This role involves operating industrial pumping and water management equipment safely and efficiently, assisting with equipment setup, commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance, and demobilization. Operators will monitor system performance, perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance, complete daily documentation, drive company vehicles, and maintain a safe work environment. Successful candidates will be adaptable, safety-focused, and willing to support the team wherever needed.

Requirements

  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License
  • Driver's Abstract acceptable to the Company's insurer
  • Ability to pass a pre-access Alcohol & Drug test
  • Ability to obtain a satisfactory Criminal Record Check
  • Willingness to work a 14-on/14-off rotational schedule
  • Willingness to travel and work at remote project locations across Canada
  • Physically capable of performing the duties of the position

Responsibilities

  • Operate industrial pumping and water management equipment safely and efficiently
  • Assist with equipment setup, commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance, and demobilization
  • Monitor system performance and identify operational concerns
  • Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance
  • Complete daily inspections, FLRAs, and required operational documentation
  • Drive company vehicles and transport equipment as required
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and professional work environment
  • Work closely with supervisors and fellow crew members to achieve project objectives
