About The Position

RODI Systems is seeking an industrial equipment assembler for its manufacturing business specializing in water treatment technology. The role involves assembling and installing piping, wiring, instrumentation, and other mechanical or electrical devices. Applicants must be skilled at reading schematic drawings and have experience in at least one of the listed trade areas: carpentry, plumbing and pipe fitting, or electrical work.

Requirements

Skilled in reading schematic drawings.
Experience in at least one of the following: carpentry, plumbing and pipe fitting, or electrical work.
Ability to solve problems related to the assembly process and the functioning of system components.
Ability to communicate clearly, follow instructions, work independently, and work accurately.
Ability to use drills, saws, and other common tools.
Ability to measure accurately based on drawings.
For carpentry experience: familiarity with common carpentry tools for cutting, drilling, finishing, and measuring wood, plastic, metal, or other structural materials.
For plumbing and pipe-fitting experience: experience cutting, measuring, and assembling plastic and metallic piping components; ability to use a measuring tape to the nearest 1/16 inch.
For electrical experience: experience wiring commercial or industrial buildings or equipment.

Responsibilities

Follow technical instructions and interpret engineering drawings and technical terms.
Assess the quality of parts and materials used in production.
Track parts and tools used in the assembling process.
Follow company procedures and directives.
Keep the workspace clean and well maintained.
Assemble and install piping, wiring, instrumentation, and other mechanical or electrical devices.
Work in warm and cold conditions, including inclement weather.
Work overtime when required.
