The Communication Wireworker is a skilled electrical and communications infrastructure professional responsible for the installation, maintenance, testing, certification, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical, structured cabling, fiber optic, and low-voltage communication systems. This position supports the design and operation of critical utility communications infrastructure within substations, service centers, control centers, data centers, offices, and field facilities. The successful candidate will hold a Journeyman Electrician license (or equivalent verifiable electrical experience where licensing is not required) and maintain BICSI certification. The Communication Wireworker combines traditional electrical knowledge with telecommunications and network infrastructure expertise to ensure safe, reliable, and standards-compliant installations.
