Requirements

  • Demonstrated passion and enthusiasm for Industrial Engineering within a manufacturing environment.
  • Minimum of 1–2 years of experience as an Industrial Engineer, with hands-on involvement in time and motion studies and other current state assessments.
  • Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree in industrial engineering (completed or in progress) is required.
  • Proficient in PMTS (Predetermined Motion Time System) analysis and well-versed in maintaining strong documentation standards.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is essential.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems is considered an asset.
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct time studies to analyze work patterns, develop optimized solutions, and document workflows as algorithms to accurately estimate labor hours for various processes.
  • Gather data for method studies, including process layouts, step-by-step operations, material lists, and required manufacturing documentation.
  • Perform motion studies and visually represent findings using spaghetti diagrams to identify inefficiencies.
  • Execute multi-moment studies on production operations to assess current performance in terms of efficiency and productivity, particularly focusing on bottleneck areas.
  • Provide support for key operational excellence initiatives and manufacturing processes through detailed documentation and analysis.
  • Assist in continuous improvement projects by maintaining thorough documentation and contributing to risk assessments.
