About The Position

The Industrial Engineering Manager at Jabil, Inc. will lead and manage industrial engineering activities, focusing on optimizing manufacturing processes, improving efficiency, reducing costs, and ensuring operational excellence across various production lines. This role requires a strong leader who can drive continuous improvement initiatives and manage a team of industrial engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in industrial engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
• Proven track record of successfully implementing lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in industrial engineering software and tools (e.g., simulation software, CAD).
• Experience with process optimization, capacity planning, and facility layout design.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic manufacturing environment.

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree preferred.
• Certification in Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt) highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of industrial engineers, providing guidance and support for their professional development.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize manufacturing processes, improve productivity, and reduce operational costs.
• Conduct time studies, motion studies, and value stream mapping to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
• Design and implement lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and other continuous improvement tools.
• Analyze production data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights to enhance efficiency and quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, supply chain, and R&D, to ensure seamless execution of projects.
• Develop and manage project plans, budgets, and timelines for industrial engineering initiatives.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for manufacturing operations and industrial engineering projects.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies, equipment, and automation solutions to improve production capabilities.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies.
