Requirements

Currently enrolled in a four-year undergraduate or graduate ABET-accredited engineering program
Ability to work full-time during Summer 2027

Nice To Haves

Passion for the aerospace industry and interest and enthusiasm for a career at Boeing
Academic excellence (GPA of 3.0 or higher)
Previous related internship or work experience and/or involvement with student or civic organizations
Majoring in one of the following: Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Manufacturing Engineering, Engineering Management, or other closely related engineering fields
The ability to relocate and work onsite

Responsibilities

Industrial Engineering interns support Tulsa production operations by analyzing and improving the integration of people, equipment, materials, facilities, and processes.
Interns work with manufacturing teams to improve safety, quality, cost, delivery, capacity, flow, standard work, and production readiness through data-driven analysis and structured problem-solving.
Analyze production flow, staffing, schedules, capacity, and constraints.
Develop process, layout, standard-work, and efficiency improvements.
Support ergonomic and safety improvements.
Use operational data to identify trends, risks, and recovery actions.
