About The Position

The Engineer, Industrial Co-Op assists the Business Analytics & Industrial Engineering Department in accomplishing tasks, including: time studies, data collection, data analysis, metric development and execution, and projects pertaining to increasing efficiency, reducing costs, impacting sales, and improving throughput.

Requirements

In pursuit of Bachelor’s degree in an accredited Industrial Engineering or equivalent program.
1+ year educational experience in an accredited Industrial Engineering or equivalent program.
Must be currently pursuing a degree at an accredited university, and must have a graduation date later than December 2026.

Nice To Haves

Prior internship and/or prior industrial engineering experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Execute and participate in data collection studies. Perform data analysis using statistical tools and methodologies.
Utilize industrial engineering and business analytics tools (e.g., probability and statistics, process flow analysis, queuing theory, data visualization / dashboarding, etc.) as appropriate to improve operational efficiency. Can include aiding in developing and using analytical forecasting/prediction models that yield process and labor improvement recommendations and improved property-wide operations planning. Could also include establishing key performance tracking metrics and monitoring ongoing performance.
Aid in the development and execution of productivity and efficiency related analyses. Evaluate and improve methods and procedures for the various operational processes throughout the resort.
Aid in the development and delivery of business cases & presentations with potential audiences including front line stakeholders, business leaders, and executive leadership.
Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established policy, procedures, training, and team member involvement activities.
Perform other duties as assigned.
