About The Position

This role focuses on leveraging industrial engineering analytics to optimize manufacturing systems and processes through modeling. The engineer will be responsible for developing and implementing various models to analyze capacity, labor, costs, and material flow, ultimately driving efficiency and cost savings in factory operations.

Requirements

  • Capacity modeling (OEE, cycle time, bottleneck analysis)
  • Labor and cost modeling (COGS, LOH, ROI/NPV/IRR)
  • Manufacturing analytics & process optimization
  • Simulation tools (FlexSim / AnyLogic / Simio)
  • Data analytics: Excel (advanced), SQL, Python, BI tools (Power BI/Tableau)
  • PFEP and material flow modeling
  • Scenario analysis, sensitivity modeling, and forecasting
  • 7+ years in industrial engineering analytics/ manufacturing modeling
  • Experience building end-to-end IE models (capacity + labor + cost)
  • Strong exposure to factory operations, throughput optimization, and cost analysis
  • Experience with business case development and financial modeling
  • Hands-on work integrating shop-floor data, MES, and analytics systems

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain capacity models, including OEE, cycle time, and bottleneck analysis.
  • Create labor and cost models, incorporating metrics such as COGS, LOH, and financial analyses (ROI/NPV/IRR).
  • Apply manufacturing analytics and process optimization techniques.
  • Utilize simulation tools like FlexSim, AnyLogic, or Simio for modeling manufacturing environments.
  • Perform data analytics using advanced Excel, SQL, Python, and BI tools (Power BI/Tableau).
  • Model PFEP and material flow within manufacturing facilities.
  • Conduct scenario analysis, sensitivity modeling, and forecasting.
  • Develop end-to-end IE models that integrate capacity, labor, and cost components.
  • Contribute to business case development and financial modeling.
  • Integrate shop-floor data, MES, and analytics systems.
