About The Position

Reporting to the Supply Chain Department, this role is responsible for supporting material flow, logistics engineering, packaging optimization, and launch planning activities for new product introductions. The position leads MP&L-related engineering analysis, PFEP development, material flow design, warehouse and lineside presentation optimization, and launch readiness activities. Additionally, the role coordinates, tracks, and reports project status utilizing Gestamp's program management tools (GPCS, Teamcenter, Ariba, and others) while supporting Program Managers on key launch initiatives.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree (or bachelor's equivalency), or equivalent combination of education and experience.
3-5 years of Automotive-related experience in Program Launch, MP&L lead.
Experience with creating and managing PFEP and product launch timelines.
Computer Skills with familiarity with Project, Word, PowerPoint, and Complex Excel Spreadsheets.

Experience on Team Center PLM, PJM, CAD, and TCM Modules.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and monitor new product launches using GPCS/Ariba.
Utilize Teamcenter for project tracking of PCP task completion, customer milestones, and internal KPI compliance.
Support internal team for project-specific master data.
Schedule and host meetings with Program Management teams to review the status of MP&L topics/open issues.
Develop RFQs and interface with Purchasing and Program Managers.
Create PRs/GRs/VIM invoices in Ariba.
Report on purchasing finance program status.
Order, report, and coordinate logistics for launch trial material to tool shops and GSC.
Manage material cards (Logistics portion).
Create and maintain packaging instructions for all programs.
Develop and maintain PFEP (Plan for Every Part) / Pack BOM for all programs.
Manage container/rack.
Oversee WIP container design, approvals, and purchase.
Plan WIP Rack reuse.
Manage blank pallet and purchase.
Create and report on delivery timing and budget status.
Set up and manage launch warehouse (EC / FIFO).
Optimize material flow and lineside presentation for series production.
Coordinate all freight requirements for material/equipment.
Track all freight topics to ensure on-time delivery.
Coordinate with purchasing for all trial material purchases and tracking.
Optimize material flow, organize, and minimize warehouse footprint.
Support SAP Supplier set-up and BOM upkeep including material masters.
Support plant layout planning.
Provide data and detail to Program Managers for customer project status reporting.
