About The Position

As an Industrial Engineer at OnLogic, you will play a key role in optimizing our manufacturing and operational processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and scalability. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including production, supply chain, and quality to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements that support our mission of delivering robust industrial computing solutions to customers worldwide. You will analyze workflow, design efficient systems, and develop solutions that streamline production while maintaining the highest standards of product reliability. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about continuous improvement and operational excellence. This is a full-time, onsite role based at our Headquarters in South Burlington, VT.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 5+ years of experience in industrial or manufacturing engineering, process optimization, or related roles.
  • Proven experience utilizing data analytics, time-studies, and workflow mapping to drive continuous improvement.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, or similar).
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Ability to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Designing, evaluating, and optimizing lean manufacturing layouts and assembly workflows to support fluctuating production demands for configurable computer hardware.
  • Drive the integration of new technologies, automation, and AI into manufacturing processes.
  • Collaborate with production and quality teams to establish and maintain best practices and standardized work procedures.
  • Support capacity planning and layout design to optimize facility utilization.
  • Introducing automation, fixture designs, or specialized tooling to eliminate waste, improve ergonomic safety, and drive continuous improvement on the shop floor.
  • Use data-driven approaches to monitor performance metrics, analyze production data (takt times, error rates, and bottlenecks), and drive continuous improvement on the shop floor while sustaining gains in global operational excellence.
