About The Position
Design systems and processes to increase the productivity of Semiconductor manufacturing. Develop, design, plan, and implement equipment and machine layouts, workflow production and capacity tools and models and safety precautions to maximize utilization of plant and manufacturing facilities. Document and ensure compliance with established industry safety and design standards and guidelines. Develop Throughput Optimization for overall output of equipment. Development of Complex analytic based calculators to identify ideal long term modeling indices. Ability to identify and address incorrect or no longer valid equipment indices to ensure model validity. Evaluate worker productivity and flow and recommends improvements to increase manpower and operating performance, reduce waste and delays and promote cost control/reductions. Being able to identify cost savings opportunities through capital analysis of equipment. Ability to maintain Spec validity and compliance. Develop and maintain metrics to measure plant and equipment capacity output and identify equipment and process flow bottlenecks. Establish accident prevention measures and plans and schedules training programs for personnel concerning all phases of production operation. Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs. Work and collaborate with other projects and/or assignments as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering a related field, or a foreign equivalent
- 3 years of progressively responsible post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or any engineering related job titles.
- 3 years of experience in Semi-conductor Process including SWD (Shallow Well Diffusion / Shallow Well Drive), the thermal drive-in process used after ion implantation to form shallow wells (doped regions) in the silicon wafer
- 3 years of experience in DIFF to introduce dopants into the silicon wafer and to redistribute previously implanted dopants
- 3 years of experience in IMP (ion Implantation) introducing ions of a desired element into the wafer to change its electrical properties and for precise control of dopant concentration and depth
- 3 years of experience in JMP Data Analytics and Power BI for interactive data visualization, statistical analysis, and modeling
- 3 years of experience in Throughput Optimization, batch factor analysis and Productivity Improvement for Equipment
- 3 years of experience in Cycle Time Analysis to measure, evaluate, and optimize the time it takes for a product, batch, and process step to move from start to finish
- 3 years of experience in Predicting and analyzing process/system behavior over long periods (months, years, lifecycle) using Long Term modeling
- 3 years of experience in Obsolescence Maintenance
- 3 years of experience in Spec Maintenance to ensure product consistency.
