About The Position

We are hiring an Industrial Engineer – Operational Excellence to drive Lean transformation, process improvement, and safety performance across a multi-site operation. This is a hands-on role focused on: Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing / Lean Logistics, Operational Efficiency, and Safety & Risk Reduction. Military Veterans with experience in engineering, logistics, operations, or maintenance are strongly encouraged to apply. Your leadership, structure, and problem-solving skills translate directly to this role.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, or related field
• 3–5 years of experience in Industrial Engineering
• 3–5 years of experience in Lean / Continuous Improvement
• 3–5 years of experience in Manufacturing, logistics, or warehouse environments
• Strong data analysis and problem-solving ability
• Time studies and workflow optimization experience
• Advanced Excel and process mapping tools
• Strong communication and leadership skills

Nice To Haves

• Lean / Six Sigma (Green Belt or higher preferred)

Responsibilities

• Conduct time studies, workflow analysis, and capacity planning
• Develop labor standards, layouts, and process documentation
• Identify inefficiencies and cost-saving opportunities
• Lead Kaizen events, 5S, and waste reduction initiatives
• Drive standardization and process optimization
• Train teams on Lean tools and best practices
• Perform hazard assessments and ergonomic evaluations
• Support job safety analyses (JSA) and root cause investigations
• Improve safety systems, layouts, and visual controls
• Partner with Operations, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams
• Support performance improvement across multiple sites
