Industrial Engineer
About The Position
Define work elements, complete floor observations, analyze data, and implement engineered standards in Distribution Centers (DCs) across the United States Trend analysis of DCs performance, efficiency, & capacity Review, refine, and create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Lead training for warehouse staff explaining engineered labor standards (ELS) Project management of strategic projects including layout optimization, slotting/pick paths, racking configurations Support/coordinate warehouse management system (WMS) configuration. Ability to translate operational requirements into WMS config/solutions Up to 90% travel is required Other projects or duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and 2 to 4 years of related experience or High School Diploma/General Education Degree (GED) and 5 to 7 plus years of specific experience
- Must be available to work onsite in the Rosemont office Monday through Thursday, with remote work on Fridays.
- Up to 90% travel is required
