About The Position

Siemens Industry is looking for an Industrial Engineer - 1st Shift for our Fort Worth, TX factory. This role is located in a modern, dynamic factory environment that utilizes artificial intelligence (AI) to optimize production processes and drive innovation. The facility has over 450 employees and produces high-quality, engineered and make-to-order power distribution equipment. The industrial engineer will analyze operations, design workflows and production processes, reduce inefficiency, and ensure products meet quality standards. Responsibilities include documentation and performance measurement of manufacturing processes, new product introduction, improvements to production lines, capital expenditures, cost savings measures, and fixture design.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1 years of experience in industrial engineering or manufacturing operations.
  • Understanding or exposure to manufacturing equipment and systems.
  • Experience with ERP systems and engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Excel, simulation tools).
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • Lean Six Sigma certification.
  • Experience in aerospace, automotive, or other complex manufacturing environments.
  • Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP platforms.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and cost modeling.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain detailed equipment lists for manufacturing and production operations.
  • Conduct cost analyses for equipment, labor, and materials to support budgeting and investment decisions.
  • Prepare accurate production cost estimates for quoting, planning, and financial forecasting.
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to ensure alignment on cost and equipment planning.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
  • Support layout planning, time studies, and workflow analysis to improve operational efficiency.
  • Apply industrial engineering methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and simulation modeling.
  • Maintain documentation for cost models, equipment specifications, and process changes.

Benefits

  • The pay range for this position is $55,264 - $105,509 annually.
