About The Position

At the Aerostructure Product Center, we’re committed to advancing aerospace manufacturing for Blackhawk derivative airframes and components. Our Industrial Engineering team plays a crucial role in improving efficiencies, reducing costs, and enhancing productivity through innovative methodologies, data-driven analysis, and strategic decision-making. As a member of our Industrial Engineering team, you will conduct comprehensive analyses to support our production goals. This includes methods analysis, labor performance evaluations, standard data development, and cost estimating. You will also take part in man-loading and capacity studies, workflow assessments, make-vs-buy evaluations, and learning curve analyses to optimize operations. Your insights will drive improvements in areas such as production layout, labor cost metrics, and operating methods. Working closely with Operations Leadership, you’ll develop actionable plans for implementing new technologies, methodologies, and facility enhancements. Requirements

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 2 years of professional experience; or no experience required with a related Masters degree.
  • Experience in a Manufacturing position.
  • Experience with Analytical and Project Planning Tools including MS Office suite of tools. Tableau (SQL equivalent)
  • Attention to detail and strong communication skills

  • Union environment with shop floor experience
  • Experience with Analytical and Project Planning Tools including MS Office suite of tools. Tableau (SQL equivalent) & SAP software experience a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and presentation), particularly with Production Operations and Program Offices
  • Ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize assignments
  • Greenbelt Certified a plus – experience leading process improvement activities
  • Earned Value Management (EVM), an understanding of Schedule Performance Index (SPI) and Cost Performance Index (CPI) a plus
  • Previous Sikorsky Operations experience
