We are searching for a results-driven Industrial Engineer to join our Hollister-Whitney team at Vantage Elevation. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field
  • 2–5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Working knowledge of Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement tools
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools
  • Ability to work effectively with production supervisors and hourly operators
  • High attention to detail and ability to analyze data to drive improvements
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting EH&S initiatives or working closely with safety professionals
  • Familiarity with quality management systems (ISO 9001 or similar)
  • Experience developing SOPs, standard work, and operator training documentation
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (or higher)
  • Experience in discrete or engineered-to-order manufacturing environments

Responsibilities

  • Analyzing and improving manufacturing processes, workflows, and labor utilization
  • Conducting time studies, line balancing, capacity analysis, and standard work development
  • Supporting layout planning, material flow, and ergonomic improvements on the shop floor
  • Partnering with supervisors and operators to document and maintain SOPs and work instructions
  • Collaborating with EH&S to integrate safety considerations into process design and improvements
  • Supporting ergonomic assessments, job hazard analyses (JHAs), and risk-reduction initiatives
  • Working with the Quality team to support root cause analysis (RCA), CAPA, and process consistency
  • Collecting, analyzing, and presenting operational data related to safety, quality, productivity, and cost
  • Developing reports, dashboards, and visual management tools
  • Participating in continuous improvement initiatives across the facility
