About The Position

Tag Systems USA is looking for a full-time Industrial Engineer to join our team in Eatontown, NJ. This role involves spotting bottlenecks, transforming complex manufacturing challenges into streamlined success stories, improving processes, maximizing efficiency, and driving operational change. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
  • 5-8+ years of industrial, manufacturing, process engineering, or continuous improvement experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated experience leading manufacturing process improvement projects.
  • Strong experience with time studies, capacity analysis, workflow optimization, process mapping, and labor utilization.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S, Value Stream Mapping, and Root Cause Analysis.
  • Experience with facility layouts, production flow, and equipment placement.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Experience developing cost-benefit and ROI analyses using Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening test.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems.
  • Experience with AutoCAD or similar layout software.
  • Experience with Power BI or other analytics platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Analyzing production data to identify opportunities for improvement in throughput, downtime reduction, and efficiency.
  • Collaborating with Production and Maintenance teams.
  • Conducting labor and capacity studies.
  • Evaluating workflow patterns.
  • Leading continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S, and other methodologies.
  • Developing innovative solutions to reduce waste, improve equipment utilization, and optimize facility layouts.
  • Supporting automation opportunities.
  • Creating standardized processes and performance measurements.
  • Supporting new product launches and customer implementations.
  • Leading cross-functional improvement projects.
  • Developing ROI analyses for capital investments.
