Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing or process engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and BOM management.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Process Improvement & Lean Implementation Analyze production processes to identify bottlenecks, waste, and improvement opportunities. Lead kaizen events, time studies, value stream mapping, and standard work development. Implement Lean tools (5S, SMED, visual management, flow optimization). Drive continuous improvement initiatives across all manufacturing processes.
  • Capacity, Throughput & Performance Analytics Conduct capacity modeling, labor planning, and line balancing to maximize throughput. Monitor and improve OEE, cycle times, takt times, and labor efficiency. Support annual budgeting, cost-saving initiatives, and capital planning with data-backed analysis.
  • Documentation & BOM Management Create and revise detailed work instructions and manufacturing procedures. Build and maintain accurate Bills of Materials (BOM) for all products. Ensure documentation aligns with ISO and corporate standards. Maintain accurate process documentation, standard times, layouts, and engineering change records.
  • Project Leadership Lead cross-functional projects related to automation, debottlenecking, productivity, and new equipment commissioning. Support new product introductions by defining process capabilities, PFMEAs, routings, and required equipment.
  • Cost & Waste Reduction Identify cost-saving opportunities through process redesign, material optimization, and improved workflow. Perform material yield analysis and implement corrective actions to reduce scrap and rework. Support procurement and manufacturing in evaluating make vs buy decisions.
  • Quality & Compliance Partner with Quality to ensure processes are capable and stable—reduce variation and improve first-pass yield. Maintain compliance with all safety, environmental, and corporate standards.
  • Tools & Systems Use Excel, Minitab, CAD, MES, and ERP systems to analyze and validate improvements.
