About The Position

You would partner closely with operations and leadership teams to implement sustainable continuous improvements solutions. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Industrial Engineering preferred).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Aptitude for systems and systematic work.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to travel up to 25%

Nice To Haves

  • 1+ years of relevant experience (inclusive of internships)
  • Knowledge and understanding of conveyor and automation systems
  • Understanding of AI tools and their practical applications.
  • Proficiency in CAD software.
  • Experience with distribution center systems, including warehouse management system, warehouse execution system, labor management system.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the distribution center’s systems, including automation and warehouse management systems.
  • Identify continuous improvement projects, and leverage lead methodologies to implement changes that improve productivity, throughput and safety.
  • Use data and analytics to identify bottlenecks and areas of opportunity.
  • Propose enhancements to the building’s automated systems to improve service metrics, performance, and reliability.
  • Collaborate with management to develop and maintain cost control systems that allow the building to meet its budgeted cost.
  • Assist in implementing labor management standards for hourly work functions, including evaluating existing standards and developing new ones.
  • Evaluate current use of equipment, or deployment of new automated equipment to improve productivity, throughput, and safety.
  • Support buildings within the Americas region, as well as network-wide initiatives to drive operational improvements and cost reduction.
