About The Position

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for an Industrial Engineer - Lean Manufacturing. This is a Full-time, Contract position for 3 Months with possible extension, located in North Charleston, SC, and is Onsite. As an Industrial Engineer-Lean Manufacturing, you will apply industrial engineering concepts, approaches, and techniques to product, process, and services to meet program requirements of moderate complexity. You will design, develop, analyze, test, evaluate, and implement processes and technology insertions by applying industrial engineering techniques and concepts to optimize production system design, operational efficiency, and after-market services. You will monitor performance and support production and systems to meet operational and functional requirements. You will translate engineering, systems, and mathematical concepts to practical applications throughout the product life cycle. You will research emerging technologies and develop industrial engineering tools and processes. You will ensure compliance with established industry safety, design standards, and ergonomic guidelines. You will support the evaluation of new techniques and technological developments for integration into the production process and service operations. You will develop moderately complex models, databases, and spreadsheets to analyze data and provide summary analysis and metrics for consultation to leaders. You will assist with research, design, development, improvement, and implementation of processes and tools to enhance schedule performance, lower cost, and improve quality, for large scale systems integration and asset utilization. You will lead metrics, data analysis, and improvement plans, related to our team’s productivity, efficiency and first-time quality, including Lean+ events, 5S improvement plans, and/or special initiatives to improve organizational effectiveness.

Requirements

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement.
2+ Years of experience in last 7 years in Aerospace/Defense Industry.
2+ years of experience defining, developing, implementing, or improving production processes.
3+ years of experience working in a Lean manufacturing with knowledge in lean principles.
3+ Years of experience working as an Industrial Engineer or Continuous Improvement Engineer or Process Engineer.

Nice To Haves

Experience developing and deploying standard processes.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products.
Commercial Aircraft experience preferred.
