Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
  • 7–10 years of relevant work experience, preferably in the semiconductor industry or consulting.
  • Strong analytical skills — able to extract real insight from multiple data sources; expert-level knowledge of data analytics tools such as SQL, Excel, Tableau, or Power BI; Python and Applied Smart Factory APF a plus.
  • Proven experience working across cross-functional business teams, including Engineering, Operations, Marketing, and Finance; prior management consulting or internal consulting experience preferred.
  • Able to work effectively in a matrix environment and influence without authority.
  • Excellent oral and written communication, organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented, able to connect the dots and communicate complex ideas effectively with executive presence.
  • Broad understanding and experience including service business management, product development, and financial reporting.
  • Working knowledge of Lean / Six Sigma (DMAIC, Kaizen).

Nice To Haves

  • MBA or Masters in Engineering equivalent business experience preferred.
  • Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Be part of an internal consulting team with high visibility to Applied Global Services (AGS) executive leadership.
  • Lead strategic transformation projects for AGS that improve productivity, drive operational excellence, streamline business processes, influence business strategy, accelerate growth, deliver cost reduction, and embed continuous improvement across the organization.
  • Own the complete project lifecycle — from as-is analysis, opportunity identification and quantification, and development of improvement streams and solutions, through stakeholder buy-in and implementation.
  • Structure and break down complex business problems, develop hypotheses, and drive analysis to deliver recommendations in a data-driven manner.
  • Lead thoughtful, rigorous analysis across large data sets and synthesize insights and opportunities.
  • Develop and present high-quality recommendations and deliverables for executive-level consumption, and contribute to the associated strategy and execution discussions.
  • Partner across a cross-functional set of stakeholders to gather the right information, pressure-test hypotheses, co-create deliverables, accelerate execution, and unlock value.
  • Optimize operations and business processes to deliver measurable gains in business performance, cycle-time reduction, and cost savings.
  • Apply program management discipline to keep initiatives within scope, schedule, and impact.
