The Industrial Engineer (II–III) is responsible for optimizing manufacturing processes, improving efficiency, and supporting production and new product introduction activities. This role applies methods engineering, capacity analysis, and facility design to enhance operational performance. Level II engineers are developing foundational expertise and operate with moderate guidance, while Level III engineers possess deeper experience, work more independently, and contribute strategic or complex improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
  • IE II: 2–4 years of experience
  • IE III: 4–7 years of experience
  • Ability to stand, walk, and work in manufacturing environments.
  • Ability to work in varying physical conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Perform methods engineering analysis including process design, time studies, and workflow optimization to improve manufacturing efficiency.
  • Lead or participate in industrial engineering projects and continuous improvement initiatives; implement solutions and track performance.
  • Conduct ergonomics and human factors evaluations; recommend and implement improvements.
  • Design and implement manufacturing layouts, material handling systems, and production flow.
  • Support new product introductions (NPI) including line design and tooling development.
  • Analyze and maintain production capacity models and optimize utilization.
  • Develop cost analyses and ROI justifications.
  • Establish and maintain standards and procedures.
  • Manage calibration and line side hardware programs.
  • Promote safety, compliance, and continuous improvement culture.
