About The Position

At Bausch + Lomb (NYSE/TSX: BLCO), our mission is clear and enduring: helping you see better, to live better. With a 170‑year legacy, a portfolio of 400+ products, and a team of ~13,000 colleagues in ~100 countries, we advance eye health at every life stage. As our Industrial Electro‑Mechanical Maintenance Technician, you’ll be one of the essential hands keeping our production lines, facilities, and labs operating reliably—especially on weekends to help maintain 24/7 site coverage. A Day (and Night) in This Role You arrive to a queue of work orders, prioritize safety, and dive into preventive maintenance. A VFD is flagging faults—your diagnostics quickly isolate the issue. Later, you assist Utilities with a passivation task, then support an engineering upgrade to a control cabinet. Between rounds, you document GMP activities, complete SOP refreshers, and ensure LOTO and PPE practices are locked in. If a part fails, you assess whether a quick machine‑shop repair (lathe/mill; welding when available) is the fastest path back to uptime.
