About The Position
The Electrician is responsible for performing all plant electrical work.
Requirements
- One year experience in manufacturing
- Industrial electrical experience
- Ability to repair and troubleshoot 120V, 240V, 480V, and 3-phase systems
- Experience with motor controls, VFDs, and industrial automation
Nice To Haves
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to Read, interpret, and execute drawings, schematics, blueprints, and electrical code specification
- Ability to work overtime when necessary
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair electrical issues on industrial equipment and machinery
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot motors, controls, VFDs, sensors, and PLC-related systems
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings
- Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems and production equipment
- Assist with equipment upgrades, new installations, and plant improvements
- Installs, repairs, and/or replaces AC/DC motors and drives, starters or relay
- Installs, repairs, or replaces electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, support structures, fiber-optic, line assemblies, lighting
- Replace belts on all plant motors
- Repair boiler controls
- Drive fork-lift truck
