About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician / Maintenance Electrician to support our manufacturing operations. This role is ideal for a skilled electrician who enjoys troubleshooting industrial controls, automation systems, PLCs, VFDs, and production equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. If you have experience as an Industrial Electrician, Electrical Technician, PLC Technician, Controls Technician, Automation Technician, or Industrial Maintenance Technician, we encourage you to apply.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Trade school certification in Electrical Technology or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Industrial Electrician, Maintenance Electrician, Electrical Maintenance Technician, or similar role in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
  • Experience with: Allen-Bradley PLCs
  • Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs)
  • Industrial controls and automation systems
  • AC/DC circuits
  • 4-20mA instrumentation circuits
  • Motor Control Centers (MCCs)
  • Electrical testing equipment
  • Knowledge of state and local electrical codes
  • Basic computer skills
  • Confined space trained and qualified or ability to obtain qualification

Nice To Haves

  • Experience programming Allen-Bradley PLCs
  • Working knowledge of RSLogix, Studio 5000, or FactoryTalk software
  • Experience with industrial automation, process controls, and manufacturing equipment
  • Experience supporting conveyors, packaging equipment, material handling systems, or high-speed production lines
  • Journeyman Electrician certification is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues on manufacturing and packaging equipment
  • Diagnose and repair PLCs, VFDs, motors, sensors, conveyors, and industrial control systems
  • Program and troubleshoot Allen-Bradley PLCs and control systems
  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to maximize equipment reliability
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, ladder logic, and wiring diagrams
  • Maintain and update electrical drawings, PLC programs, and maintenance records
  • Install, maintain, and repair motors, MCCs, switchgear, panels, switches, lighting systems, and power distribution equipment
  • Troubleshoot automation equipment and production line controls
  • Support continuous improvement projects that increase safety, uptime, and efficiency
  • Maintain electrical spare parts inventory
  • Ensure compliance with electrical codes, company policies, and safe work practices
