About The Position

Fortune Brands Innovations, Inc. is seeking an Industrial Electrician with industrial maintenance experience and strong mechanical and electrical skills. The ideal candidate will be adept at reading schematics, using testing equipment, troubleshooting, and repairing machinery in a fast-paced, continuous manufacturing environment. A commitment to safety, teamwork, and the ability to work 12-hour shifts are essential. This role involves performing maintenance, repair, and installation on plant machinery and equipment, troubleshooting and fixing mechanical, electrical, and equipment issues, using various tools and testing equipment, inspecting and testing machinery, and following safety guidelines.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED and completed craft apprenticeship or training.
• Knowledge of mechanical maintenance, power tools, and equipment operation.
• Ability to read electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics.
• Experience with electrical testing equipment (Meters and Meggers).
• Able to work 12-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repair, and installation on plant machinery and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and fix mechanical, electrical, and equipment issues.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
• Inspect and test machinery before returning it to production.
• Follow safety guidelines and report any issues.
