About The Position

Rinvio is hiring an Industrial Electrician for industrial maintenance and plant electrical work in the Iowa City, IA area. This is a full-time contract position with a pay range of $35-$50/hour, based on experience. The role involves supporting preventive maintenance, equipment reliability, shutdowns, and general plant electrical work. The ideal candidate will be able to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair industrial electrical systems, motors, starters, drives, panels, and production equipment. Reading and interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation is essential. The position requires comfort working in manufacturing, industrial, plant, or mill environments and the ability to coordinate with maintenance, operations, and site leadership to ensure equipment runs safely.

Requirements

• Industrial electrical maintenance or plant electrical experience
• Strong troubleshooting ability with motors, controls, panels, MCCs, VFDs, and production equipment
• Ability to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation
• Comfort working in manufacturing, industrial, plant, or mill environments
• Reliable transportation and ability to complete any site onboarding requirements
• Reliable transportation to the Iowa City, IA area
• Dependable, safety-minded, and able to complete any site onboarding requirements

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair industrial electrical systems, motors, starters, drives, panels, and production equipment
• Support preventive maintenance, equipment reliability, shutdowns, and plant electrical work
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, prints, and technical documentation
• Diagnose electrical issues in manufacturing or industrial environments and complete safe repairs
• Coordinate with maintenance, operations, and site leadership to keep equipment running safely
