About The Position

Rogers Group is currently seeking an individual to fill an INDUSTRIAL ELECTRICIAN position for our Corporate Field Services Department. This individual will be responsible for installing and troubleshooting electrical systems on new plant builds and plant upgrades. The successful candidate for this role will have an uncompromising focus on safety excellence.

Requirements

  • Five or more years of industrial electrical experience preferred.
  • Experience with industrial construction, electrical installation, or capital projects preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of 480V three-phase power distribution, motor controls, and industrial electrical systems.
  • Experience installing conduit, cable tray, wire, and electrical equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and construction drawings.
  • Familiarity with PLC-controlled equipment and industrial automation systems.
  • Working knowledge of VFDs, instrumentation, industrial networking, and control systems preferred.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to travel extensively and work independently on project sites.
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.

Nice To Haves

  • Siemens experience is a plus.
  • Aggregate, mining, cement, asphalt, or other heavy industrial facilities

Responsibilities

  • Install complete electrical systems for new aggregate processing plants and major capital projects.
  • Install conduit, cable tray, power distribution, MCCs, transformers, motors, control panels, instrumentation, and field devices.
  • Install and terminate power, control, communication, and fiber optic cabling.
  • Assist with PLC panel installation, I/O checkout, HMI installation, and control system commissioning.
  • Perform equipment startup, functional testing, and commissioning alongside engineering and operations personnel.
  • Read and interpret electrical drawings, one-line diagrams, control schematics, and construction documents.
  • Coordinate electrical installation activities with contractors, vendors, automation engineers, and project managers.
  • Ensure all installations meet NEC, MSHA, OSHA, and Rogers Group safety standards.
  • Assist with troubleshooting electrical and automation systems during project startup and after facilities become operational.
  • Support field maintenance teams with complex electrical issues when needed.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and communicate installation progress.
