About The Position

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an industrial electrician or maintenance technician, particularly in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, controls, PLCs, motor drives, and industrial automation.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a methodical approach to diagnostics and repair.
  • Effective communication skills to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Commitment to safety and adherence to all relevant codes and standards.
  • Flexibility to work the 2nd shift and adapt to the dynamic nature of industrial maintenance demands.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of an apprenticeship program or equivalent technical training in industrial electrical work strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in industrial electrical maintenance or a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in an industrial setting, ensuring compliance with safety standards and electrical codes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain continuous production operations.
  • Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to optimize equipment performance and implement preventive maintenance strategies.
  • Document all maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs accurately in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Operate electrical testing equipment and tools safely and proficiently to diagnose faults and verify repairs.
  • Assist in the training and mentoring of junior maintenance technicians, sharing knowledge of electrical systems and best practices.
  • Follow all company and OSHA safety guidelines strictly to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.
