About The Position

The Industrial Electrician will perform all work in accordance with company safety policies, Job Safety Analyses (JSAs), Lockout/Tagout procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements. This role involves maintaining compliance with NFPA 70, NFPA 70E, NEC, OSHA, and company electrical standards, while promoting a safe working environment and properly documenting completed work. The electrician will be responsible for preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on industrial electrical systems, troubleshooting and repairing electrical equipment to minimize production downtime, and diagnosing failures in motors, MCCs, VFDs, instrumentation, sensors, and control circuits. Additionally, the role includes installing, modifying, commissioning, inspecting, testing, calibrating, and maintaining electrical equipment, as well as reading, interpreting, and updating electrical schematics and drawings. The electrician will utilize various tools such as multimeters, meggers, oscilloscopes, process meters, loop calibrators, and clamp meters, and perform electrical calculations using Ohm's Law. The position also involves troubleshooting PLC-controlled equipment and machine automation systems, diagnosing PLCs, HMIs, industrial networks, VFDs, servo systems, and safety circuits, and modifying PLC/HMI programs as required. The role will also assist with commissioning new equipment and continuous improvement projects, respond promptly to electrical breakdowns, perform machine calibrations, and collaborate with Maintenance Technicians and Millwrights. The electrician will operate forklifts, boom lifts, scissor lifts, and other mobile equipment safely, and complete work orders accurately and on time.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED.
Formal electrical education, apprenticeship, NCCER, military training, or equivalent industrial experience.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to work overtime and rotating shifts.
