About The Position

Install, maintain, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical systems and production equipment. The role supports safe, reliable plant operations while following applicable electrical codes, safety requirements, drawings, and work instructions. Candidates may be placed at an entry, intermediate, senior, or master level based on verified experience, education, and demonstrated skills. Candidates meeting the Master Industrial Electrician qualifications are preferred.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of six years of industrial electrical experience with an approved industrial electrical degree or approved apprenticeship program.
• Very good physical condition.
• Ability to ascend and descend large equipment.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy items.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to work with limited supervision to production standards and requirements.
• Availability for required shift work and overtime.

Nice To Haves

• Candidates who meet the Master Industrial Electrician qualifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with or independently perform electrical installations, preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs based on assigned level.
• Troubleshoot motors, wiring, controls, and electrical or electronic equipment using diagrams, schematics, and appropriate test equipment.
• Identify electrical hazards and equipment defects, and complete work in accordance with applicable codes and plant safety procedures.
• Research or identify required parts and materials, and document completed work.
• At advanced levels, lay out installations, diagnose complex breakdowns, and coach less experienced employees.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
