Industrial Electrician
About The Position
ASM Industrial electricians will work in a variety of environments and plant sites. They will install and repair electrical components and equipment. This role requires a strong self-motivator who can work with minimum supervision/guidance. At Atlantic Strategic Minerals (ASM), meaningful work starts with a clear mission: strengthening America's supply chain for critical minerals that power modern life. We operate the largest Mineral Separation Plant (MSP) in North America, playing a vital role in the domestic supply of rare earth minerals. These materials are essential-and our team ensures they are sourced and processed right here at home. Every role at ASM contributes to securing critical minerals for modern technology. We are seeking employees to supply feed for our oversized MSP, creating opportunities for collaboration across the mineral production ecosystem.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Journeyman license / certification required.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, hand tools, and industrial equipment.
- Awareness of national, state, and local electrical codes and regulations.
- Must be a team player.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Motivated self-starter who can manage projects and make decisions.
- Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and other technical documents.
- Willing to perform physically demanding tasks, such as lifting heavy objects, climbing ladders, crawling, etc.
Responsibilities
- Installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical components of industrial equipment.
- Working as a team member or alone to complete projects.
- Observing safety procedures and meeting electrical codes.
- Making decisions based on technical documents.
- Performing quality testing and inspections.
