About The Position

Technical Diagnostic Services (TDS), a TechPro Power Group company, is seeking skilled Industrial Electricians to join their team for a large industrial Oil & Gas construction project in Southeast Texas. TDS has over 25 years of experience delivering industry-leading service solutions for the safe start-up and optimization of mechanical, electrical, and controls systems in sectors like Power Generation, Oil & Gas/ Petrochemical, and Heavy Process.

Requirements

Proven experience as an Electrician in an industrial environment with a focus on the assembly, construction, installation, and maintenance/ troubleshooting of heavy industrial electrical equipment & power systems.
Strong electrical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Willingness to travel to various project sites within the U.S.
Commitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols.
MUST have NCCER Certification (Written or Hand-on PLUS) OR Texas State Journeyman Electrician License.
Previous Experience with Heavy Process Industrial/ O&G/ Petrochemical electrical construction.
Knowledge of industry-specific electrical code, regulations, and/or standards.
Lift, carry and/or move up to 75 pounds repeatedly.
Climb ladders, staircases, step stools, stand, walk, sit, and operate vehicles for extended periods.
Bend, stoop, crawl and work in awkward positions or confined spaces for several hours.
Perform precision tasks with instruments and fittings.
Communicate verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

Assemble, construct, and install industrial electrical systems & related infrastructure according to specifications.
Safely use hand and power tools, metering equipment, and precision instruments.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects within defined timelines.
Follow safety protocols and adhere to all relevant regulations and guidelines.
Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
