PMX Industries is hiring skilled Industrial Electricians to join our team in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. This role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial electrical and electro-mechanical equipment, working with PLCs, AC/DC drives, motors, instrumentation, and control systems. You will also read and interpret electrical schematics, perform preventive maintenance, and follow safety procedures to support plant reliability and continuous improvement efforts.
Requirements
- Two-year electrical degree or equivalent industrial electrical experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of industrial electrical systems and equipment
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and work safely in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to work rotating 12-hour night shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
- Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screen

Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial electrical and electro-mechanical equipment
- Work with PLCs, AC/DC drives, motors, instrumentation, and control systems
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams
- Perform preventive maintenance and equipment inspections
- Follow Lock Out/Tag Out and other safety procedures
- Support plant reliability and continuous improvement efforts
