This role involves working as an Industrial Electrician at the Cleveland Engine Plant (CEP). Electricians are represented by the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) and are paid a starting hourly rate of $43.80 with a top hourly base rate of $44.00, plus C.O.L.A., and applicable shift, overtime, and holiday premiums. The position requires a willingness and ability to work on any assigned schedule, change shifts, work more than 8 hours per day and/or work overtime, all while maintaining good attendance. It also requires the ability to learn and follow safety rules and procedures, work in a team environment, treat co-workers with dignity and respect, and accept and follow instructions from leadership. The role involves performing tasks of the trade, standing for extended periods, walking unassisted, working at heights, working overhead, and manipulating tools typical of the trade. Tasks may require reaching, lifting, twisting, bending, and using a PMHV or hilo. The ability to perceive differences in details and prints related to the trade is necessary, as is the ability to effectively maneuver about vehicles, equipment, assembly lines or stations, and the facility.
