About The Position

We have an opening in our state-of-the-art facility for an Industrial Electrician in Cary, NC. This is an overnight shift position from 6 pm-6 am; you will be working on a 2-2-3 12-hour schedule with every other weekend off. This role has an hourly rate of $34.01.

Requirements

High School diploma or GED
Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office
Demonstrated knowledge of behavior-based safety systems
Ability to perform sitting, standing, walking, lifting, and/or repetitive tasks throughout the day.
Ability to occasionally lift up to 50lbs
Previous experience working in a food manufacturing plant
Permanent legal authorization to work in the United States

Responsibilities

Alternating between troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and on-the-spot machine repair.
Maintaining a firm focus and understanding of programmable logic controllers.
Documenting solutions clearly.
Identifying and examining production equipment failures to understand root cause analysis, with the help of interpreting schematics and drawings.
Investigating and repairing electrical & mechanical systems such as pneumatics, drives and hydraulics, and conveyors.
Seeking ways to improve plant efficiency and cost savings.
Maintaining an open dialogue with lead and supervisor regarding day-to-day activities.
