About The Position

This role focuses on maintaining electrical systems within a production facility, emphasizing safety, efficiency, and attention to detail. The Industrial Electrician will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairs, and installations, ensuring all work adheres to safety standards and company procedures. The position requires a strong understanding of electrical principles, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and the capacity to collaborate with other maintenance personnel.

Requirements

  • Ability to furnish their own hand tools.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical tools and how to correctly use them.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Strong work ethic.
  • Ability to follow electrical drawings and verbal directions.
  • Ability to identify wire sizes, feed sizes and conduit sizes.
  • Decent understanding of electrical troubleshooting.
  • Strong understanding of electrical safety and LOTO.
  • Ability to use electrical test equipment, multimeter, ammeter, megger.
  • Ability to assist and work next to other maintenance men and engineers during troubleshooting.
  • High school diploma.
  • Career technology school certification, or 1-5 years prior electrical work experience.
  • Knowledge of electrical tools and safety.
  • Demonstrated ability to work safely in a fast-paced production facility.

Nice To Haves

  • Construct and bend rigid conduit runs and pull circuits plant wide.
  • Ability to furnish their own hand tools.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate and perform a commitment to safety by actively participating in training, working safely, and continuously improving the work environment.
  • Maintain organization, cleanliness, and housekeeping (6S) within the work area to the highest degree possible.
  • Safely work in a fast-paced environment during breakdown situations.
  • Utilize strong knowledge of electrical tools and their correct usage.
  • Follow electrical drawings and verbal directions.
  • Identify wire sizes, feed sizes, and conduit sizes.
  • Construct and bend rigid conduit runs and pull circuits plant-wide.
  • Perform electrical troubleshooting.
  • Adhere to electrical safety and LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) procedures.
  • Use electrical test equipment, including multimeter, ammeter, and megger.
  • Assist and work alongside other maintenance men and engineers during troubleshooting.
