About The Position

Camco Chemical is seeking a skilled and safety-focused Industrial Electrician who will also perform general industrial maintenance technician duties, with a primary emphasis on electrical systems and controls. This role supports continuous operations by installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical, mechanical, and process-related equipment in a chemical manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate is electrically strong, mechanically capable, and flexible in supporting overall plant maintenance needs.

Experience with installation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of industrial electrical systems including motors, motor controls, PLCs, VFDs, MCCs, instrumentation, and power distribution equipment.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues in manufacturing and process equipment.
Ability to perform general industrial maintenance technician duties, including support of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and process equipment.
Ability to assist with maintenance and repair of pumps, mixers, conveyors, valves, sensors, heaters, and other production equipment.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, P&IDs, and technical documentation.
Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance on electrical and related industrial systems.
Ability to support installation, commissioning, and start-up of new equipment, process improvements, and facility upgrades.
Ability to work safely in hazardous and classified areas, adhering to all electrical, chemical, and environmental safety standards.
Knowledge of NEC, OSHA, NFPA standards.
Ability to collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and production teams.
Ability to maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation within the CMMS.
Willingness to participate in on-call rotation, emergency response, and planned shutdowns as required.
Ability to assist with root cause analysis and reliability improvement efforts.

Responsibilities

Perform installation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of industrial electrical systems including motors, motor controls, PLCs, VFDs, MCCs, instrumentation, and power distribution equipment.
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues in manufacturing and process equipment to minimize downtime.
Perform general industrial maintenance technician duties as required, including support of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and process equipment, with electrical work as the primary discipline.
Assist with maintenance and repair of pumps, mixers, conveyors, valves, sensors, heaters, and other production equipment.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, P&IDs, and technical documentation.
Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on electrical and related industrial systems.
Support installation, commissioning, and start-up of new equipment, process improvements, and facility upgrades.
Work safely in hazardous and classified areas, adhering to all electrical, chemical, and environmental safety standards.
Ensure compliance with NEC, OSHA, NFPA, and Camco Chemical safety policies and procedures.
Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and production teams to identify issues, recommend solutions, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation within the CMMS.
