About The Position

Rinvio is hiring an Industrial Electrician for industrial maintenance and plant electrical work in the Iowa City, IA area. This is a full-time contract position with a pay range of $35-$50/hour, based on experience. The schedule and overtime may vary by site needs. The role involves troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing industrial electrical systems, motors, starters, drives, panels, and production equipment. You will support preventive maintenance, equipment reliability, shutdowns, and plant electrical work. The job requires reading and interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, prints, and technical documentation, as well as diagnosing electrical issues in manufacturing or industrial environments and completing safe repairs. Coordination with maintenance, operations, and site leadership is essential to keep equipment running safely.

Requirements

• Industrial electrical maintenance or plant electrical experience
• Strong troubleshooting ability with motors, controls, panels, MCCs, VFDs, and production equipment
• Ability to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation
• Comfort working in manufacturing, industrial, plant, or mill environments
• Reliable transportation and ability to complete any site onboarding requirements
• Reliable transportation to the Iowa City, IA area
• Dependable, safety-minded, and able to complete any site onboarding requirements

Responsibilities
