About The Position
Henke Industrial is seeking experienced industrial electricians for part-time, project-based work supporting machinery relocation, installation, and plant shutdown projects throughout the U.S. This is a great fit for someone who: Is retired or semi-retired from the trade and wants to stay sharp, wants supplemental income without a full-time commitment, and enjoys hands-on industrial work and travel. A background in manufacturing or heavy industrial environments is preferred.
Requirements
- Industrial or manufacturing electrical experience
- Strong safety awareness and ability to work in active industrial environments
- Ability to read electrical prints and schematics
- Ability to travel periodically on an as-needed basis
- Own basic hand tools and PPE preferred
Responsibilities
- Disconnecting and reconnecting industrial equipment
- Wiring, terminations, and control connections during machinery moves
- Troubleshooting and supporting installation crews on-site
- Working alongside riggers and millwrights during plant projects
- Occasional overnight and multi-day travel
